Gever Tulley is the founder of the 'Brightworks School' and the 'Tinkering School'. His book '50 dangerous things that you should let your children do', is a compilation of family activities in which he proposes experiments such as "sticking your fingers with glue" or "bandaging your eyes for an hour".
In this video, the North American educator presents the ideas that support his educational model, that is, that schools are workshops where children can unleash their creativity and direct their own learning process. Tulley is convinced that experience and action favor learning processes. "I try to give children the opportunity to be responsible for something they are not usually responsible for, which is their own safety and well-being," says the educator.
